"My order arrived with one of the items..."
My order arrived with one of the items cracked, and the box looked like it had been tossed around. I was already in a rush that day, but I stopped to take pictures and send them over right away because I figured it would be an easy fix.

It ended up being way more frustrating than it needed to be. Customer service took days to reply, then kept asking for details and photos I had already sent. I never got a clear answer about a replacement or refund, just a lot of back and forth. Really disappointing, and I don’t plan on ordering again.

"Shipping is just too much"
The stuff is really cute, but wow, the shipping cost was way too high. It feels like every place charges a fortune for shipping now. I almost canceled my order because of it, and I probably won’t order again unless they make it cheaper.

"It arrived right when they said it would"
I’ve ordered from Victorian Trading Co a few times now, it just makes me feel better when a company does what they say they’re going to do. My last package showed up on the exact day they estimated, everything was packed well, and nothing was missing. I didn’t have that usual little stress of wondering where my order was or having to follow up with anyone. It was simple, dependable, and that’s really all I wanted.

"Exactly as described"
I ordered a lace clock from Victorian Trading Co., and it showed up looking just like the photos. Perfect. The size, color, and finish were all spot on, and there were no weird surprises when I opened the box. that was a relief.

I really liked a lot of the items and they do look nice in person, but for what I ended up paying it felt a little hit or miss and then the shipping cost added on top made it feel even pricier, so I’m happy with the stuff but not totally sure the value was all there.

I’m happy with the items I ended up getting, but the whole backorder situation was kind of confusing. I wasn’t really sure what was happening or when my order was supposed to ship unless I went and checked on it myself. Customer service did get back to me, which I appreciated, but it took a little while and the answers still felt a bit unclear. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, I just wish they had been more upfront with updates from the start.

"Refund was quicker than I thought it’d be"
I ended up canceling my order because I realized I’d chosen the wrong item, and just from how these things usually go, I assumed the refund was going to take forever. But it actually showed back up on my card within a few days, which was a nice surprise.
Customer service got back to me fast too, and their tone made it feel like it wouldn’t turn into some big annoying process. Thankfully, it didn’t. Super simple and appreciated...

It’s a piece and the craftsmanship seems decent overall, but I wouldn’t call it super sturdy. If you’re thinking about getting it, I’d just suggest using it more for light everyday use or display rather than anything rough. It’s nice, just maybe not the most durable option out there.

"Pretty close to the photos"
I ordered a scarf and a small decor piece, and overall I’m happy with them. The colors looked very close to the website photos, maybe just a little darker in person, but nothing that bothered me. They still looked nice and worked well for what I needed. I took off one star for the slight color difference, but it was a solid purchase.
